As I was reading all of the reviews, I was a little frightened by all of the reports of extreme diaper rash with the Dry Max. We had used these from the store, without any adverse reaction, so I was confident getting them from Amazon.As I said, no adverse reactions, but I have talked to other moms (and dads) who have had children with reactions, so I certainly appreciate those concerns. All in all, we prefer Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, Size 3, 156-Count to these because of slightly better fit and absorbency (and we've also had good luck with the slightly pricier Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Stage 3 (16-28 Lbs.), 35 Count (Pack of 4))... My daughter broke out in a rash as soon as we switched. No matter what creams, diaper rash ointments, etc. I tried, the rash stayed. I switched to another brand, got rid of the rash, and tried these diapers again, thinking maybe it started because of something she ate (Hoping the money we spent on the huge pack from Amazon wouldn't be a waste.) Unfortunately, the rash came right back! I will not be using dry max products any more. I just wish they'd bring back the old Pampers Cruisers! Lots of the reviews here have already pointed out the key issue with the Pampers Cruisers -- poop leaks. We haven't had any urine leaks, but poop does manage to come up the back. Personally, I'm not super annoyed by this because our baby (5 months) tends to only poop every other day and it doesn't leak every time. but, I'm not thrilled with stains on his adorable clothes! plus, his pooping will surely increase as we introduce solids. So, it looks like we'll use these as he learns to move (rolling has begun) but will have to find something else to deal with the poop issue.i will say that I don't find these diapers too rough or uncomfortable. our baby seems okay in them and hasn't had any rash outbreaks. |
